Now to the ice problem...
The referees said there was a rather large slit in the ice where the cement underneath the ice was showing. They said it would continue to get worse, and it was a safety hazard. They tried to fix the ice, but apparently the great lakes league does not have a Facilities Operations Manager like Dan Craig who makes the outdoor rinks for the winter classic's in the N.H.L. He would of fixed it in no time.
But for all of us who were there on Tuesday at practice,we know what happened to the ice. I don't like using names so, #91 on the Canadiens broke the ice. It started Tuesday night when #91 was stick handling in that very spot the ice broke, and when I say stick handling I mean turning the pucks into squares. He is a very aggressive stick handler, and while #91 was just standing their the ice cracked. We have been telling #91 since the season started he needed to drop a couple pounds, but he can't put down Jason Koumaris's home made honey balls. He eats them like tic-tacs, and that ladies and gentlemen is why the ice is broke.
So #91 here is a video that can help you along in your career, if you can stop eating the honey balls.
Love the Koho!
