What a game! Both teams gave the crowd a great show. After being a part of game one, I know this is going to be one hell of a series. The sharks outplayed the Canadiens in the first period out shooting them 13-4, and taking a 1-0 lead into the second period. With under 10 minutes remaining in the second the Sharks scored two shorthanded goals, taking their lead to 3-0. The sharks held that lead until 8:45 into the third period when Chris DiNatale dumped the puck in on net, and it took a favourably bounce for the Canadiens finding the back of the net. This started the comeback for the Canadiens, after DiNatale's goal the team responded with three goals in 2:55 taking the lead 4-3. Dylan Impens added an empty net goal and the Canadiens took game one 5-3.
Game 2 is Monday night in Wheatley a 7:30 p.m.
